Regional Cancer Centre Thiruvananthapuram
The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram is an internationally recognised centre providing state-of-the-art facilities for cancer diagnosis, treatment, palliation and rehabilitation and conducting a wide range of research on various type of cancers.
This state-owned premier cancer care hospital and research center is one among 28 centers in India operating under the ‘National Cancer Control Programme’ of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.

Those who are interested may apply in the prescribed application form attached herewith.
Copies of all relevant documents should also be attached along with the application. Application registration fee of Rs 250/- should also include with the application as Demand Draft in favor of the “Director, Regional Cancer Centre”, and Payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The application should be sent to the following address on or before 5th of March, 2023. The entrance test will be on 25th March, 2023.
Mode of selection
Applications will be invited once every year. Selection will be based on performance in
written test followed by Interview.
Requirements
- The candidate should possess first class (not less than 60% in aggregate) master’s
degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or Public Health in which candidates
like to do their Ph.D. - Applicants must have cleared one of the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICMR/Department of Higher Education, Government of India (GATE)
or with valid fellowship of UGC/CSIR/INSPIRE/ICMR/KSCSTE or other recognized funding agencies. Additionally, fellows working in the funded projects may be allowed to register for Ph.D. as per the University guidelines.
