Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has opened the PhD admission (July 2026 session) for research programmes including Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and related fields under its doctoral research scheme. The admission is through the VIT Research Entrance Examination (VITREE), which is the gateway for entry into Ph.D., Direct Ph.D., and Ph.D. (Deep Technology) programs across VIT campuses including Vellore, Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal.
